How to Make Four Mixed Media Style Sympathy Cards

Hello my friends! You know I don’t particulary love making sympathy cards, but why not try to have a little fun while making them. For me that means breaking out a few mixed media substrates. All four cards use the Coneflower Frame Die from Whimsy Stamps, and I think they are beautiful. Let’s hang out for a minute and see what I’ve been up to!!!

I applied three colors of Stencil Butters to create the ombre effect on three of the cards. I also used the Coneflower Frame Die as stencil for one of them. For the last card I decided to go with a classic black and white scheme using only cardstock. You’ll have to watch below for the processes!

Well, friends, I hope you’re feeling inspired from this post! Tag me on Instagram if you make a project using this as inspiration!! I’d love to see how you made it your own!! Xx, Joy
