Spellbinders March Club Kits

Woohoo! The March Club Kit Subscription from Spellbinders are here! Are you as excited as I am? Every month I am ecstatic when my subscriptions hit my mailbox. It’s like a little gift from me to Me! If you’re like me I have to have them all, and thank goodness there’s an option to get them all!!!

The Large of Die of the Month has captured my heart this month. I just love cherry trees because they signify that Spring has sprung, so I had to make a tree in this theme. I also paired it with the 3D Embossing Folder of the month. Now I will tell you that if you use the die as it is intended your mind will be blown. It sets up like a stadium where you can build thee perfect scene! I naturally gravitate to the 3D folders because I love all kinds of texture on my cards. You will have to let me know what your favorite product is this month.

The Clear Stamp and Die of the month is the star of the show on this card. But, I love the small embossed arch too. Honestly I don’t which I love more!!! I colored the small flowers with Olo Markers, but there are layering stamps that will do the work for you included in the set.

For this intricate card I used the beautiful Small Die of the Month paired with the Clear Stamp/Die of the month subscriptions. I just love the soft grays of this composition.

This is probably my favorite of all of the cards I made and it’s jammed packed with all kinds of techniques. I did some partial die cutting using the Small Die of the month to get the scalloped end of the white panel. Once it was cut, I then embossed it with the Embossing Folder of the month to add the fun texture. I also stamped the arabesque shape and sentiment from the Clear Stamp/Die of the Month. Now you will notice the beautiful strip of acetate, for that I foiled it in Black using the Glimmer Hot Foil Club of the month. Isn’t that fantastic? I love adding acetate elements because I think the take your design up a notch. Let me know what you think!!!

There are several other clubs offered that I didn’t mention, but Spellbinders is now offering Stitching Die of the Month, which is new in 2023! And of course if you want them all, there’s an option for that too!

Your cards are beautiful. I usually buy the Total Package, but this month I’m thinking of leaving out the Large Die of the Month and the Card Kit. Think the tree looks rather clumsy and I don’t think I’d ever use it, though I would use the flowers and leaves. Love all the others, especially the Small Die, the Glimmer and the Stamp & Die as these three work so well together.

    1. I think you’re right about the tree. It was intended to be on a stadium style display, but no matter how I would use it, I would back it with an additional piece of heavy weight cardstock.

I hope my cards gave you some inspiration and maybe try to use the dies a little differently than intended. I definitely tried to stretch myself using some partial die cutting techniques. Thanks for stopping by!

      Hugs, Joy
