Patchwork Petals by Becca Feeken and Spellbinders

I can’t believe I am still making Christmas cards, but I felt this cozy design called Patchwork Petals by Spellbinders screamed Christmas. I know a lot of other designers have done it in different themes so be sure to check it on social media outlets. I paired with this with a few other Spellbinders products to create the perfect Christmas card.

I die cut the Patchwork Petals from 4 patterned papers and once in heavy weight cardstock. I found it easier to back the frame to solid piece of cardstock before inlaying the different colors. Once the quilt was complete I cut the Sealed Leaf Sprigs and the poinsettia from the Outlined Christmas Sentiments die. I also used a plain wax seal created using Red Wax Beads to add more dimension and character to my card, in addition to Journey Black Twine. I felt like a small greeting was necessary since we had so much going on and added that to the sentiment strip. Pretty fun huh?
