Spring/Summer Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop 2022

Hello to my caffeinated friends out there! Are you sitting back with your favorite cup of java and being inspired by all of the Coffee projects out there today? I am super excited that Joy Clair Designs is a Super Sponsor for the event, so I am sharing my favorite coffee inspired digital stamp called Cup Of Joy. This stamp set is jammed packed with eleven images and ten sentiments which in my opinion is a heck of a deal!

Creating this card was simple as I printed my image from Cup Of Joy onto smooth card stock and colored it with Copics. I sized the image to be about 2.5 inches wide with the original intent of placing it in the bottom left hand corner creating a clean an simple design, but things changed. My bff gave me a color challenge and encouraged me to use patterned papers and dimension. The challenge was happily accepted.

So I used a muted blue green and brown palette as my jumping off point and the rest is history! After coloring the images, I decided to use papers from a My Mind’s Eye paper pad called Lost & Found Breeze and will link it below if it is currently available. I also used a piece of torn cardboard to add texture and dimension to the project. I die cut the sentiment from Cup Of Joy and layered it on another banner. I’d love to know what you think.

Copic coloring: BG 70, 72, 75, 78, 90, 93, 96
E 71, 74, 77, 79 and # 40 41, 43, 44

B91, 93, 95
