Morgan’s Artworld May Challenge

Hi and welcome back for another challenge at Morgan’s Artwold where the theme is always anything goes. For my card this month I chose the rose image from Flowers 2 digital stamp set, but the lily image is just as beautiful. Perhaps you’ll see another card with the lily soon?

To start this card, I printed the Flowers 2 rose image onto smooth cards stock with a laser printer and colored it with a simple blend of copics. I scaled the image to make the perfect focal point for an A7 sized card. I cut it down to size and matted it for added dimension. The green layer is embossed with the Spellbinder’s Rose Table Cloth embossing folder. I think it was the perfect addition to the rose image. I added simple silver borders from Stamp On It to embellish it a bit more. I love the font of this discontinued sentiment from Create and Inkspire. That wraps it up for me.
