Very Special Christmas Box

Hi friends I have very special Christmas Box to share today featuring Polkadoodles printable stamps and papers. I even chose a pre-coloured image, as I am running out time. That’s what I love about Polkadoodles, they have something for everybody! I have a sweet, but small gift for my second Mom, and wanted to give it to her in a drawer/easel card.

Let’s take a quick look and then I’ll explain how I made it!

To form the base and drawer I used 120 lb white cardstock so it was nice and strong. First you cut 2 pieces of paper to measure 7x 8 1/2 inches and score 3 sides at 1/2 in. Slice away one side of each scored corner to make a box. You will need to slide one on top of the other forming a open face box that the drawer can slide into

Then cut a third piece of card stock measuring 8 1/8 x 8 1/8 inch and score all 4 sides at 1 3/8 inches and miter the corners and glue together to form the drawer

This video from Sandra Beus Designs maybe helpful in making this card.

Once the base was formed I decorated it with layers of Winnie White Christmas Printables 4 papers, and Winnie White Christmas Printable Papers 2. I distressed the edges and popped some of the layers up on foam tape. I added the beautiful Pre Coloured Time to Give stamp set, and Winnie White Christmas Foliage.

To further embellish the special Christmas box, I added white lace and thin pink ribbon to form a stopper for the easel portion of the card. The sentiment was also popped up on foam tape for this reason. I think the pearls and pink ribbon bow were the perfect touches for this special gift.
