Altered Paper Clip

Hello and welcome back to my happy place! I’m so glad you joined me for Bugaboo’s Anything But A Card Challenge! I was glad that this fell on my assigned DT day, because lately I have been interested in making my own embellishments and planner accessories. I chose this cute Ladybug Brat stamp to make an altered paper clip! It’s always very interesting on Anything But a Card day, so please go check out what the rest of the team at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog has come up with.

For this project I used an Art-O paper clip that already had the dream charm attached to it. I cut two Scalloped Rectangles dies to back each side of the paper clip for a clean look. The paper I used was from Recollections Northpole News in attempt to get rid of scraps. I added an Art Impression stitched Rectangle die cut to mat the cut little girl and then tied hemp twine around it to add interest. The Bugaboo Ladybug Brat stamp was colored with Copic markers. It was a very easy and quick project, but it adds such a cute detail to my planner!
