Love Bug

Hi and welcome back to my happy place. I have a quick card to share with you today that I made for my daughter’s birthday. It is a 6 inch square card with lady bugs. This is special to both her and I because she has always been my lady bug and I was her butterfly.

The images were printed on Copic friendly cardstock and then colored in. I tried to outline the images with 3 shades of BG Copics that wold match my Distress Oxide Tumbled glass ink, but it was a little off… maybe a lot. For the black spots on the lady bugs, I used glossy accents to add interest. The sentiment is from Pickett Fence Studios, Kylee Boo stamp set and was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink. From there it was matted on to black/red/pool colored card stock. Ice blue stickles were also added for a little more interest.
