If you love interactive cards, bold patriotic color palettes, and quirky dinosaurs with personality, today’s project is going to be right up your crafting alley! This Patriotic Dinosaur Triangle Tri Fold Card combines fun folds, seamless Copic coloring, and vintage Americana vibes into one eye-catching handmade card.

Using the adorable Closer to Extinction stamp set from Pajama Crafter Stamps, I created this red, white, and blue dinosaur card featuring rich Copic blends, layered patterned papers, and a dimensional triangle tri fold design that is guaranteed to stand out on any display shelf.

Whether you’re creating a masculine birthday card, patriotic handmade greeting card, or simply trying a new fancy fold card technique, this project delivers big personality with surprisingly easy construction.

A Patriotic Dinosaur With Seamless Red & Blue Copic Blending

The star of this project is definitely the adorable dinosaur image from the Closer to Extinction stamp set. Instead of traditional dinosaur colors, I wanted something bold and unexpected, so I created a dramatic patriotic color scheme using rich reds and deep blues.

One of the biggest challenges with complementary color families like red and blue is creating a smooth transition without muddying the blend. In the YouTube Live replay, I walk you through exactly how I blend these Copic color combinations seamlessly while maintaining bright, vibrant contrast.

For this project, I stamped the dinosaur image onto Marshmallow Coloring Paper, which continues to be one of my favorite papers for alcohol marker coloring.

It allows:

• smooth marker movement
• beautiful ink saturation
• easy blending
• crisp stamped detail

That smooth surface really helps when working on intense color transitions like the patriotic red and blue blend used on this dinosaur image.
