Friendship Card with Birds of a Feather

Hey crafty friends!
Today, I’m sharing a heartwarming friendship card that’s all about love, connection, and the cutest little birdies. I used the Birds of a Feather stamp set from Pajama Crafter Stamps, and let me tell you—it’s the perfect choice when you’re crafting something from the heart.

The Background: Soft and Sweet

To start, I used a heart stencil and blended Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Ink over a soft white panel. This gentle pinky-coral shade adds a lovely wash of warmth and instantly sets a sweet tone for the card.

The Stars of the Show: Feathered Friends

The two birds from Birds of a Feather are just too adorable together. I colored them with Copic markers, using a soft hand and blending techniques to mimic the look of watercolor. I wanted them to feel light and dreamy—like a moment captured in a spring garden.

Texture & Layers: Pebbled Beach Cardstock

To give the card some grounded structure and contrast, I die cut some elements (a scribble circle die frame) using Pebbled Beach cardstock. This soft kraft brown has just the right tone to complement the background and the gentle bird colors without stealing the spotlight.

Finishing Touches

I arranged the birds side by side in the nest, what says friendship better than a cozy perch shared with someone you care about? I added a sweet sentiment from the same stamp set, a few tiny heart embellishments, and mounted the whole panel on coordinating cardstock for a polished finish.
