Hello everyone! How’s it going? Today I am sharing a super fun shaker using the the Meowgical stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs. I love this stamp set because it comes with four adorable kitties and cute pun sentiments. I think you’re going to love it as much as I do. I will be sharing more cards throughout the month!
I stamped this cute kitty from Meowgical onto smooth cardstock and then colored him with Copics. Once the coloring was complete, I cut him out using the coordinating Meowgical die set. Next I got to work on the background. I masked off the center with a circle to create the moon, and then blended several Distress Inks to create the night sky. I think the key with this blend is adding the black shadows and a bright moon. Speaking of the moon, I tore a scrap piece of paper and blended more Distress Ink over creating depth and dimension on it. From there I drew in a tree form so that it overhung the moon. I used my black Copic for this since the Distress Inks are compatible with them. Finally I put the panel into the A2 Shaker Acetate Sheet and adhered three of the sides before adding the bling mix! Super cute right?
