What you need to know about Spellbinders Betterpress System

Hello friends! Needless to say I am in love with the Betterpress System from Spellbinders! I literally took it out of the box and started using it like it had been in my craft room for years. I did a Facebook Live that discusses how to use the system, I tried it with the suggested papers and inks and then I veered off and tried things from my stash. I highly encourage you to watch and see what you think!

Because I did the live I’m not going into all the details here.

For this first card, I broke all the rules and went rogue from the suggested papers and inks. I used Hammermill Premium Color Cardstock and inked the included press plate with Memento Tuxedo Black ink because I wanted to Copic color the image. Shocker huh?

This second card, I used the suggested Cotton Paper and the Tawny BetterPress Ink. The Tawny was used for the setiment, but I used Delicata Golden Glitz Pigment ink to press with framed florals from the Better Press July Subscription. Once the design was pressed, I trimmed down the panel and blended Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the border. Finally I popped it up on an embossed card base.
