I am so excited that House Mouse in re-emerging in the Spellbinders shop. I didn’t start stamping until about six years ago, so I missed out on most of the House Mouse rage, but I am so glad I get a chance to be introduced to these sweet mice!
When I saw Daisy Mouse, I knew I had to color her first I imagined her holding onto the daisy like a parachute which is why I sky scene in the background. I colored Daisy Mouse with Copics and then blended the background using Distress Inks in the colors Tumbled glass, and Mowed Lawn. To finish off the card I used a few clear confetti embellishment. Kinda short and sweet!
I designed the next card using Popping By in a very similar way as the first one, but used Copics for all coloring and the background. I think this one pops more (no pun intended) because I used complimentary colors or those that are opposite from one another on the color wheel. In this case blues and oranges. I wanted to add a little more interest, so I matted it on a panel embossed with the February 2023 3D embossing folder subscription. Unfortunately this folder is no longer available, but Spellbinders has many more to choose from.
My third and final post for this post features the Bouquet For You stamp set. I decided to makes this into an A7 card so that the mouse was large and in charge. You will have to let me know what you think.
