Hi friends! I can’t believe it, I submitted my first project to Craft Roulette hosted by Mary Gunn! The wheel of crafty fun is the best ever. If you haven’t tried it, please do! This episode was sponsored by Sweet Sentiment Stamps and my friend Sandy made her first live debut. Be sure to join in, you can submit a card until this Sunday night!
Let’s talk about the parameters for Episode 157:
Project: Easel Card
Element: Rhymes with “ake” Take… a bite
Color: Cornucopia all the colors can be found in a cornucopia
Random: Gold Ink blending, Teeth, toe nails and eyes.
I created an A2 sized Easel card and used two die cut ovals to create the element to keep it open. For the background I blended Distress Oxides in the colors Mustard Seed, Crackling Campfire, Candied Apple, and Villainous Potion. I stamped the T Rex from the Carnivores stamp set and colored it with Copics. Once the background was dry, I stamped the sentiment in black. I thought it would be cute to add foot prints on the ovals… What do you think? Did I do okay for my first time? And I did it while the show was live…. that’s some quick crafting…. I mean coloring.
