Hello my sweet friends! I know I say this every time, but the Sweet Sentiment Stamps release this month is off the charts, or maybe even Cosmic!!! They have introduced 4 stamps sets with coordinating dies. Once set is floral as usual and the other a little extraterrestrial! In addition you can make your own galaxy using the new release stencil. Let’s stop gabbing and take a look at the sets!
I’m starting out my collection of projects using the Curious Cosmo stamp and coordinating die. I like to put each new flower on a new memory dex card because I love collecting them. Later this month I will use it on a more traditional card. If you are interested I get my Memory Dex from the CatalogDexCo on Etsy,. I colored the main image 3 times with Copics and layered them up to get this super dimensional flower which I paired with an embossed dex card. Super cool right?
Now we are getting into the more cosmic looking cards that I made. I love this What the Beep set as it comes with so many coordinating stamps to create your very own video game themed card. I cant wait to see what you create with it!
If you didn’t know, Aliens Exist. This set comes with 3 other aliens that make the cutest Alien family, but for today I wanted to feature this little guy buzzing around space! I colored this one with Copics and created the background using Distress Inks and a Stardust Swirl die. Love him!!!
Last, but not least is the Need Some Space set coordinated with the Galaxy stencil. I stamped the Sandy and Jammie images and colored them in their favorite colors and then got to work on the background. I used a large circle die to act as a stencil and mask to blend the giant sun with Distress Oxide inks. Then I used the moon part of the Galaxy stencil to ink in the blue earth, and used the crater portion to resemble land in green. I think it translated well. You will have to let me know!!!
