Do you have that one friend who just loves St Patrick’s Day? Well in my crowd, I’m that girl. This is my favorite holiday of the year. It’s my favorite color, I have a reason to drink a green beer, and I don’t have to buy gifts…. What else could you ask for? Today, I am sharing St Paddy’s Shenanigans with Whimsy Stamps products. Best of all we don’t have to buy solid cardstocks anymore, unless we really want to!!!
I mentioned the end of buying color cardstocks… I had an epiphany the other day that if I use my markers to color images, why not color die cut, or borders on matting layers? Duh!!! That cut’s down on costs and space. So for now I am limiting my solid colors to black and white, but really I could cut out the black and color it too. I colored the St Paddy’s Shenanigans image with Olo Markers except for the skin tones. I also used them to color each individual bow of the Array of Rainbows dies. Now you can’t have a rainbow without clouds am I right? I used the Grass and Cloud Edger die for that and inked it with my blue Blending Brush! No card is complete for me without adding an embossed sentiment and some Glazed Lime bling! And the OMG… just makes it over the top cute!
