Hello my friends! It makes me so happy that Spring is right around the corner and the days are getting longer. Soon we will be puddle jumping and singing in the rain. Until then, why not craft what we crave. I am in love with the new Spellbinders Showered with Love Collection for all the above reasons I just stated. I am sharing a few of the products newly released this month. I hope you like them!
On both cards I used the Rain Drops 3D embossing folder, but they are dramatically different from one another. This first card features this cute Duck With Umbrella die that I colored with Copic markers. I embossed the Rain Drop 3D folder using a medium toned blue cardstock and then blended the edges with Distress Ink in the color Stormy Sky. After that I applied Versa Magic Cloud Ink directly over the drops making them pop off the page. To finish off the card I added a sentiment strip featuring the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments stamp set. Very cute right?
I recently took a Bootcamp from Jenn Dove and was inspired by one of her monochromatic cards, so I thought I would give it a go. This card features the Rain or Shine die cut in white and shaded with a cool grey Copic marker. After layering this rainbow scene up, I adhered it to the smallest of the Fluted Classic Rectangles and popped up with foam. I stamped and die cut the January Clear Stamp and Die of the month four times to give it a chip board appearance. I then adhered the Rain Drops embossed panel on a side folding A2 card base. I just love all of the dimension on this card
