Oh my goodness have you heard? Spellbinders‘ and Simon Hurley have joined together to create the Joyful Christmas Collection. Some of the products are exclusive to Spellbinders and others coordinate with Simon Hurley Creates stamps. So cool right? Today I am working with the Floral Stag die and Candy Stripes Cover plate die to create two Christmas cards.
I used the same exact dies for both cards, but got two very different results. On the first card, I used the Candy Stripes die as intended, but on the the second, I created a plaid by flipping one of the panels over. I love the tone on tone look of the second card. Also one cool feature of this die is it comes in two pieces. One die cuts out the stripes, and the other is a rectangle die. They designed it that way so that a larger card be created by extending the stripes by die cutting it twice. Simon did a great job in explaining this and you can find his video here!
