It’s that time again… yep Embossing Folder Friday where the theme is Paisley and Flourishes. I think the folder I used passes for both. You will have to let me know. I paired my embossing folder theme with the Leaf Layers stamp set from Whimsy Stamps. I just love how versatile this stamp can be, but ultimately chose an Autumn theme.
To create this fun background I first applied Aged Mahogany Distress Ink to watercolor paper and then embossed it with a Crafter’s Companion Ornate Lace folder. Next I applied Distress Mica Sprays in the colors Fortune Teller and Harvest Moon. From there I cut the panel down using the Cornered Rectangles Slimline die from Whimsy. Finally I stamped the leaves and sentiment from Leaf Layers, colored them with Copics, and then embossed them. You can find all of the details in the video below:
