Hello my friends! Today I am participating in hop where we are focusing on grunge and clean and simple designs. I chose grunge because it takes me out of my comfort zone. Be sure to check out everyone’s projects over on Youtube!
Grunge isn’t new to me, but it isn’t something I gravitate to when I am creating, as you can probably tell because I chose clean matting layers and a simple sentiment. Is it possible I incorporated both themes of the hop? hmmm. Maybe. I used a combination of Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks to make the background for this beautiful butterfly from the Flights of Fancy stamp set. In addition to the butterfly I used a Ticket To Ride from Maker Forte to enhance the background. You will also subtly notice the Script stencil from Sweet n Sassy.
