Hello friends! I have had the Popping Poppies stamp set in my stash for quite some time, and it needed a little love. Like I just had to have this set, and then I lost it in my abyss of a studio. Does that ever happen to you? I’m so glad to show the two cards I made with this today. And if you love it as much as I do, be sure to head on over to Scrappy Tails Crafts to pick one up for yourself. I am enabling you today!
I made an A2 sized card and created my own patterned paper by stamping the individual flowers from Popping Poppies around the border of card panel in black. Next I stamped the images again onto smooth cardstock and colored them with Copics. After fussy cutting them out I arranged the flowers along the bottom left creating an eye pleasing trio.
On the second card I used the same stamp set but added a modern twist to the design by making it a mini slimline and using a geometric element. I used exactly the same colors and inks to create this card, but it most definitely is more clean and simple. For this card I added to rectangle frames to create the three blocks in the design, and then added the sentiment and flowers. But wow isn’t this so different?
