Spotlight Stenciling and Stamping with Maker Forte

Hello friends! I hope your week has started out safe and happy? Today I am sharing an encouraging message with spotlight stenciling and stamping for Maker Forte. I love that Maker Forte has made Clean and Simple design easy to achieve with clean borders, despite being inky. Let’s check out how I did this!

I chose to use the Easter Blessings stamp set for the spotlight for today’s card, but didn’t use it as a traditional Easter theme, instead as a message of encouragement. To create the backdrop, I blended Color Hive inks in the colors Coral Keys, Bubble Gum, and Yellowstone through the Circle Spotlight Stencil placing the circle toward the top of the panel. Then I stamped the Easter Blessings image with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder after treating it with an anti static powder tool. I repeated the same process with the sentiment featuring Johua 1:9. I just love this verse and think it would bring peace to so many,

To finish off my card I trimmed down the focal panel to measure 4 x 5.25 inches and matted it with a slightly larger Eclipse Black panel. Using foam tape I popped up the entire panel before adhering it to a Perfect Score A2 Top Folding Cardbase. Of course I had add just a little more shine with a few sequins from my stash. This was so easy to create, but I think it turned out just beautiful. It’s already in the mail!!!

Below you will find a process video in case you want to see all of the details! Happy Crafting!!!
