Hello friends! I just want to say a big thank you for all of your encouragement and support over the past year. I can not wait to see what crafty things we get into for the year 2022, but for now I want to share a thank you card and sneak peek into a new die collection from Gina Marie Designs! I’ve made a few cards with this collection, but today I’m going to show you the X stitch nesting rectangle dies used a little different than normal, that’s right I foiled with them using my glimmer system!!!
In my true to self fashion I decided to leave a wider border so I matted the front panel onto a gorgeous gold mirror card stock base, but the star of the show are X stitch dies. The larger die measured around 3.5x 4.75 inches and then I used the next size down as well. I had heard a “rumor” that you can foil with regular dies so I thought I would give it a try. I used gold glimmer foil to get this effect. The Thank You sentiment is a glimmer plate from Spellbinders Paper Arts which obviously I knew would work, but I was really pleased how this entire card came together. Let me know what you think!
