Hello friends! I am getting excited for Christmas. My house is finally fully decorated and most of my cards and tags are made to send out to friends and family. Today I am sharing one I made for my musically inclined friend. She plays in an Orchestra so I thought the dies from the A7 Music Note Cover Plate set from Scrappy Tails Crafts would be a perfect setting for her. I am hoping she will love it.
To start my project I used a sentiment from a set of 3 Hot Foil Christmas Sentiments and centered it onto a 3.5 x 5.5 inch panel. After the sentiment cooled I then applied Versamark ink through the Music Note Swirl Stencil to create a subtle texture on the front panel. I die cut the string instrument from the A7 Music Note Cover Plate and sprigs from the Assorted Christmas Leaves set. Before arranging all of the bits I embossed one layer and matted it with gold before applying it to the A7 card base.
I hope that you have enjoyed this card and will give it a try! For more inspiration please join us on the Scrappy Tails Crafts Facebook page! You will find stunning projects on the Scrappy Tails blog, Youtube, and on Instagram!
Just a small disclaimer! All items used in all of my projects are (or have been) purchased with my own funds, but this does not include design team items that I have received or otherwise stated.
Until next time… keep crafting!!!
