With Bountiful Thanks

Hi friends! Today is a special day in my household as our family gathers in love and fellowship together. My heart is full with bountiful thanks for God, Country and Family. The last few years have been full of ups and downs, but the one thing we all know is that we can count on the love of one another. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for blessing me with your kindness, encouragement and support along my card making journey. I think of you as my crafty family and hope that you find yourselves blessed beyond measure. I’m not going to keep you on here long… so here is my Turkey Day card. Enjoy your day!

I just love how the blend turned out for this card. I used distress oxides in the colors black soot, chipped sapphire, seedless preserves, and antique linen, which I wasn’t sure would go well together. To my surprise it is stunning. After the panel dried I embossed the Lined Leaves stamp set from SSS and a sentiment from FSJ’s Bountiful Thanks in gold. To add just a bit more shine I die cut a thin frame from Honey Bee and applied gold sequins. Of course that wasn’t enough so out came the gold splatters. That was exactly what I wanted and I called it done!

Now off to dinner!

Just a small disclaimer! All items used in all of my projects are (or have been) purchased with my own funds, but this does not include design team items that I have received or otherwise stated.

Until next time… keep crafting!!!
