Hello friends! I’m so glad you’re here with me today! I’m excited because I got to try out some new favorites and some favorite oldies for this card! Funny Times from Joy Clair Designs and the new oxide ink makes me so happy!!! Let’s take a look first…
I haven’t made an A7 card for a while, so I decided to go with a large and bold image with a beautiful Distress Oxide blend. I printed the Funny Times digital stamp to fill up most of 4 x5.25 in panel onto smooth card stock. I colored this cute fella from Funny Times with Copics and then had to decide how to make him pop off the page! In my opinion, nothing makes a red pop more than teal so I had to go with it. I blended Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina, and Cracked Pistachio with my new domed blending foams. I have no idea why I waited this long to try them. Once happy with my blend, I spritzed the panel with water and a shimmer spray for added interest. I just love how the sentiment from Funny Times is large and bold too. Honestly that’s why I like digital stamps, because you can size them to fit your project and preference. If you haven’t given digitals a try yet, I highly encourage you to.
