Hi friends! I am here sharing a fun card featuring Scrappy Tails Crafts stamp set called Home is Where Mom is. This stamp is only available as a gift with purchase and there aren’t may left. As many of you know, I don’t make Mother’s Day cards because honestly it is too painful to, but this stamp really spoke to me. See Mom is already at home, and someday I will see her again. I am so glad I finally have a stamp that expresses how I feel. I made this card to be more traditional, but for my personal needs I would have a beautiful rainbow and clouds for the background.. but this one is for you…
For this card I created the brick background by blending Black Soot Distress Oxide ink through a brick patterned stencil. I then stamped the image with Memento ink and colored it with my favorite Red Copic combo and matted the layers. Very simple right?
