Je T’aime Galentine’s Day Card

Hi crafty friends! I couldn’t resist one more Valentine’s Day card, err in this case a Galentine! I made this card for my bff who has been like a second Mom to me. I hope she gets a kick out of it, since she felt the need to remind me Valentine’s Day was on Sunday!

My card features a products from The Rabbit Hole Designs, the focal point being the Je T’amie stamp set. I love the sayings on the Sassy Sentiments- Anti Valentine set, but went with a simple one. Let’s take a quick look!!

You will notice my glimmering background… I just love it and don’t know why I have waited so long to use my forever hoarded Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. Yep I’m sold on it now. I blended distress oxides in the colors Hickory Smoke, Picked Raspberry, Victorian Velvet, and Spun Sugar. I applied the Lavender Nuvo Mousse through the Open Heart 6×6 stencil from the Rabbit Hole Designs.

While the background dried I stamped the Je T’amie image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers. Using a nesting circle die I cut the image out and popped it up on foam tape. You’ll notice I let the edges hanging off the side of the front card panel and trimmed them off. I think that gives it additional interest. I hope you’ll give this design a try!

I’m curious to do you send your gal pals Valentine’s?

You can find both the stamp and stencil at The Rabbit Hole Designs and Simon Says Stamp!
