Hello! I hope you are having a great day! The first day of fall may be tomorrow, but here it’s a balmy 89 degrees and sunny! It really couldn’t be more perfect, and I will treasure it as I know what will be around the corner soon. Today I let my creative juices flow and decided to make a very simple stamp into something pretty amazing and 3D! I embraced the upcoming fall colors, with a splash of teal and gold. I used kraft paper and scored it every 1/4 inch so it would look like corrugated paper, added some texture paste and red tattered angels glimmer mist. I didn’t stop there, I continued to distress the paper with tearing and distress stains, I added some red leaves that had been preserved by a company much smarter than me (as I never would have thought to distribute them), and teal colored burlap. To make the wreath, I cut it out with the scan n cut (another smart company), and then further frayed it with scissors. I used five layers to create this beauty and then added maple leaf and twig stamps to make more texture.! Without further ado here it is!!!
