Catching Snowflakes

Hi and welcome back to my crafty place! I can’t believe it’s December already! That means the snow is coming… I loved catching snowflakes on my tongue and watching them dance around in the sky when I was a child. How about you?

Today I am featuring the beautiful Fairy Hugs Jayla and Fairy Lily to capture a wintry night scene. I can’t wait to show you…

I started this card by blending Distress Oxide inks in the colors, Seedless Preserves, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, and Tumbled glass to get that wintry night time sky.   I stamped Jayla, using a stamping platform and Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.  Jayla was then embossed with clear embossing powder.   To add a touch of whimsy I glittered her up with Plum Glitter Powder.  I then stamped the Fairy Lily several times and embossed them with Fine Detail White embossing powder.   My final touch was to add falling snow with a white gel pen.  Very simple to make, but darling.

For more inspiration and to share your makes with us, please visit our Fairy Hugs Facebook Group Page!  We’d love to see what you are up to!!!

This stamp collection was featured on Hochanda TV on October 6th at 10am!

Just a small disclaimer! All items used in all of my projects are (or have been) purchased with my own funds, but this does not include design team items that I have received or otherwise stated.
