Hi and welcome back, Joy here with a fun take on the August Die of the Month called, Lace Gate. My hope is to show the diversity of our supplies and to stretch them to make the unconventional. I die cut the Lace Gate and then die cut them again using the The Foundations circle dies. Pretty cool, right? Before I get into all of the details of the card, I’m dying to show you!

Before die cutting the beautiful Lace Gate, I created an alcohol ink background using the Teal Blue collection, and the Yellow/Orange collection by Tim Holtz. From there I die cut the various size circles and mounted the floral die cut on them. I addition to that I die cut circles from glitter card stock framing the circles to add interest. The simple hello sentiment is from the Extra Sentimental stamp set and using my Misti, was stamped with Raven Detail Ink. To add a bit more dimension to my card, I popped up my 3.75x 5in panel on foam tape. I just love how this turned out and hope you will take a look at your supplies and try to use them in a new way. Maybe pick up the Lace Gate, August Die of the Month and do something new and unexpected.
