My Gouda Friend

Hi and welcome back! Today I have a card featuring Pattie’s Creations, Who Stole My Cheese stamp set. The little mice are so cute, and they great with that cheese background! When you have a minute, stop on over to Pattie’s Creations Design Challenge and and check out what the other fabulous designers have come up. This month is an “anything goes challenge,” so it will be so much fun to see what shenanigans you come up. Pattie, always offers a free image on the challenge site, so you have no excuse but run and get it!!

For this fun A2 sized i started out my cutting a golden yellow piece of card stock to 4 x 5 1/4 inches and the lighter yellow slightly smaller. I then used circle nesting dies to create the holes in the cheese. To add a bit of depth I used Wild Honey Distress oxide ink . I then mounted it onto an A2 red card base. For my Who Stole My Cheese images I printed them out and colored them with copics. Using my cut n scan to get the clean crisp cut. The sentiment is self made from word docs, die cut into a heart and colored with a matching red Copic marker. The inside sentiment was also created using Word which says. “I’m thinking of You.” For embellishments I made a simple bow from twine and added a rhinestone heart. Super easy… but super cute!!!
