Hi and welcome! Oh my goodness I have the cutest new release from Stampers Delights to share with you and it’s perfect for your Mer-May projects! This new anime images is called, Let’s Make Waves and she is perfectly situated up on a pedestal , as any mermaid ought to be! This digital stamp set comes with 3 images and two sentiments that are so much fun! We have also introduced several more stamp sets this month, please be sure to check them out as well.
I had so much fun creating this card as I “drew” in most of the scenery! I started out by printing the mermaid, seahorses, plants, and sentiment out on copic friendly paper. I drew in the sand line in with a E51 copic marker so that I could map out where things were going to go. I then added the ripples of the sand and then colored in the ocean with 6 color blend of blues. The scales of the mermaid were so much fun as you can see I used a mixture of blues and purple to achieve the beautiful scales and then add a shimmer pen to the top. I used my cut and scan on the seahorse and then popped them up with foam tape. To add more interest to the card I added 2 ribbons from Busy Box Blends, and some turquoise sequins.
