This week I had the joy of making a thank you note that my friend requested for her niece — and I love that it also doubles as my entry for Craft Roulette!
If you’re not familiar with Craft Roulette, it’s a weekly paper-crafting challenge where you spin a wheel for four creative parameters and then create something that fits them. It’s such a fun way to push your creativity while connecting with other crafty folks.
This week’s parameters were:
1️⃣ Postcard(s) – I decided to actually mail my card via the good old USPS. It felt like a sweet nod to the postcard theme! 📬
2️⃣ Easter Basket Colors – I used Spring Plaids patterned paper along with soft pastels for that cheerful, seasonal vibe. 🌸
3️⃣ Pack(s)(ing) – I really packed on the layered hearts, and my cat image from Pajama Power, is packing in the caffeine! ☕🐱
4️⃣ Random Shiny – To finish things off, I added metallic thread for extra texture and a touch of sparkle. ✨
Final Thoughts
I loved how this project came together — it’s light, playful, and filled with details that make it personal. Craft Roulette always challenges me to think outside the box and mix creativity with a bit of humor.
