Celebrating World Fussy Cutting Day ✂️💗

Today we’re celebrating World Fussy Cutting Day — and if you’ve been following me for a while, you already know fussy cutting isn’t exactly my favorite thing to do! But sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants, and today my heart definitely wanted to create something meaningful.

This card is extra special — it’s to celebrate my dear friend’s last cancer treatment! 🎉 I wanted to make something bold, beautiful, and full of heart. I reached for the Awareness Stamp Set and carefully fussy cut the design so I could pop it up over the boxing gloves from the Hard Fought Stamp Set. The layered look really brings the message of strength and victory to life.

I colored the images with my trusty Copic markers in shades of RV19, RV17, RV14, RV13, and RV11, creating a gorgeous range of vibrant pinks. To keep things striking, I paired the design with black and white striped patterned paper — a perfect contrast that makes those pinks absolutely shine.

Even though fussy cutting and I don’t always get along, today it was worth every careful snip. This card is a little piece of celebration, strength, and hope — and a reminder that sometimes the extra effort makes all the difference. 💪💗
