Spring Camping Scene and Craft Roulette

I recently tried my hand at Craft Roulette, and it was such a fun challenge! If you’re not familiar, Craft Roulette is a creative game. You spin for four random parameters and use them to design a card. This time, the criteria were:

  • 2 or more folds – I went with a Z-fold card for a fun interactive design.
  • Jelly Bean colors – Instead of traditional pastels, I embraced spicy jelly bean shades for a bold and vibrant look.
  • A math element – I incorporated stenciled sunshine rays, drawing inspiration from 7th-grade geometry.
  • Markers – I colored all the images using my trusty Copic markers.

For my design, I created a lively spring camping scene using the Lumberjack and Happy Camper stamp sets. These sets paired perfectly to bring my vision to life. The cozy camper and rugged outdoorsy elements of the Redwood Forest Stencil set the perfect mood for an adventure-filled card.

The mix of bright colors and intricate folds added so much personality to this project. I love the warm sunshine beams. They give the card a fresh and inviting feel. This makes it perfect for springtime crafting!
