It’s so hard to believe we only have a few more days before the big day, the celebration of Jesus’s birth. Since breaking my arm, card making has come to a hault as well as blogging. Thankfully I had these two cards started before the break and today I could finally finish them.
I chose to feature my favorite go to card colors for this card using red, black and white. The Festive Poinsettias Better Press plate was inked with black memento ink, so that I could color the florals and pinecones with Copics. When you use a lighter weight paper like the Marshmallow Coloring Paper from Pajama Crafter stamps, the plate sorta stamps the image and inks the background, but there isn’t much texture left behind. I finished off the card with Christmas Words and Shadow Die.
And then next I went with my favorite white on white card design!
I die cut all of the pieces of Yana’s Amarylis in white and then layered them up createing a beautiful arrangement. I think the 3D embossing of the Amarylis Garden folder just makes this card. I just love all of the texture. To finish it off I added a sentiment from Season’s Gifting and embellished with It’s a Celebration confetti mix.
