Hello friends. I am sad to say that Fall is nearly here, which means the white stuff follows. Ugh…. Anyhow I chose to continue a litte more summer with the Sketched Florals Sunflowers from Pajama Crafter Stamps. The sunflowers in my area usually get gigantic and form fields of happy, but we have had a weird season of hot and cold with little rain. Don’t get me wrong the sunflowers are beautiful no matter their size, but the fields are usually magical and you can get lost them. Can you tell I have spent some time picnicking in these areas. The memories are magnificent!
I stamped the Sketched Florals Sunflowers in Copic friendly inks and went to town. I just love adding a few Earth tones and Yellow Red in with the yellows to make them look golden. And I think the dark blue background makes them jump off the page. What do you think. I cut down the panel to center on the card front and matted it with die cut layers using an X stitch nesting die. You know I had to pop up the layers on foam sheets because I love dimension. Tell me do you like dimension on cards?
