Hello my friends! It’s that time again and it’s always such a surprise to open my mailbox and see what Spellbinders has in store for us! And let me tell you, I love every second of it! The die clubs especially this month have my heart swooning as they are full of texture and florals, my two favorite things.! Let’s take a look.
This first card, I couldn’t resist doing a monochromatic, clean and simple design because the texture is the star of the show. If you are wondering how I got so much texture with the Embossing Club, I used Canson XL Watercolor paper. That’s such a fun way to almost make a regular embossing folder look like a 3D folder! I paired it with the Small Die Club which is fantastic too. It’s sooo big! You have to check out everything that comes with it! Aren’t you curious what the Large Die Club looks like now?
Even though this card has the florals and textures I love, I decided to go big and bold in my design. I used the Large Die Club, the Clear Stamp/Die Club, and the 3D Embossing Club to make this beauty. Seriously though, I just love how all of these club kits are curated to pair nicely with one another, but if you don’t need them all they are perfect as stand alone elements. I blended Distress Oxide Inks in the colors Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass on the background to make the white florals pop. Let me know if you like this one.?
The BetterPress Club is outstanding this month too! Look at all of the fun line art. If you’re into adult coloring books, this one is for you. I know I typically use gel pens in coloring books to color images like this one, but this time I chose 3 Karin Brush Pro Markers and they did the job for me.
