Hello friends! Did you know that on Wednesday Nights I go live on the Prickley Pear Pals page? In case you missed it.. now you know!!! This week I made a fun wreath that lights up using the Holly and Berries stamp and die set and because you hung out with me you can snag the stamp set for 25 % off for 24 hrs which means it expires on November 30th at 11:59 pm EST. You must use code HOLLY29 to get the deal! Run… you don’t have much time left!
For this fun card, I die cut the Holly and Berries in green and red colored cardstock and added a bit of ink blending using Simon Hurley’s Ink in the colors Fake Plant and Game Over. In addition I stamped the most open of the outline stamps and colored the images with Copics. By adding a combination of solid leaves and vibrantly colored leaves I was able to achieve depth, dimension, and texture to the wreath.
Once all the pieces were complete I adhered a red A2 carp panel to a card base and then cut a piece of plaid paper to measure 4 x5.25 inches. From there I die cut a circle in the top center. Next, I adhered the Pear Blossom Press Halo light onto the cardbase in the open hole. Using the World’s Best Foam tape to the back of the plaid panel and adhered it centered over halo light. Instead of me rambling on… why not watch the video to get all the details?
