Hi friends! I really have been absent for a while and I am sorry for that. First I got called out of town unexpectedly, then vacation, and while on vacation I broke a rib. The broken rib believe it or not kept me down. You have no idea how much you move and use muscles that you didn’t know you had until you have a broken bone. Any who, today is the last day that you can catch the June Club Kits from Spellbinders. So hurry and grab yours, because they are amazing!!! I have more good news! If you have missed some past kits, you can find them for up to 50% off for a short while. Rumor has it, that if you subscribe currently, then you will find further discounts!!!!
I just love this fun card. I used the Clear Stamp/Die Club an colored the pieces with Copics to create this ocean scene. For the background I sprayed dye inks onto watercolor paper and then embossed it with the Embossing Folder for this month. So easy, but so impactful. Don’t you think?
I love keeping a little bit of my art for myself, but for the most part give it away. But this little octopus from the Small Die Club, is a keeper… well in my art journal that is. I previously sprayed this journal at a Scrapbook Expo and am slowly adding scenes to it. I especially like that I can stamp and use glue in this book as it is made of cotton. I Have SOOO much fun with this!!
This third card might be my favorite of the collection. I absolutely treasure the ocean and everything in it. I especially love my toes in the sand. I used the Glimmer Club and add on plate (Ocean Wishes), in addition to the 3D Embossing Folder. This was so simple to make, as all I did was blend inks over the foiled waves, and over the embossed card panel. But isn’t it amazing?
My fourth and final card for this collection utilizes the Large Die of the Month subscription and the Embossing Folder of the Month. I know I say this each and every month, but I love how Spellbinders curates their clubs so that they can be used as stand alone products or used in conjunction with one another.
