Welcome to the Spellbinders May Kit Blog Hop. If you’re new here, welcome! I love these kits each month because it’s a little bit of happiness being delivered to door step each and every month. For this card I foiled the Birthday sentiment from the Glimmer Hot Foil Club using a Black Glimmer Hot Foil roll. I thought using a bright backdrop would be perfect for this bold sentiment so I blended three Distress Oxide ink onto white cardstock before running the Embossing Folder through my platinum machine. Continuing with the bold design I cut the balloons from the Large Die Club and then added white gel pen details. So simple, but oh so good!!!

The color blending on the candle embossing folder is bright and happy and makes the black and white balloons pop!

Really cute card, I don’t use distress inks but I have holographic paper and a watercolor ombré paper the think will look really lovely with my MAY 2D and 3D embossing folders.
