Quick and Easy Water Colored Graduation Card

Can you believe it’s that time of year already! Wow we have a whole new group of kiddos graduating. So you guessed it, I am sharing a grad card with some quick and easy water coloring. I love the Graduation stamp set from Whimsy Stamps for this technique because the artist drew in all of the shading. This makes it easy for someone like me that fumbles with water coloring. LOL!

I went for a more masculine or vintage look for this Graduation card, but you could design yours with any colors you like. I ink smooshed Vintage Photo Distress Ink onto some Canson XL watercolor paper after stamping and embossing the images/sentiments because this served as an underpainting of sorts. I made sure to dry the panel thoroughly before applying the Karin BrushMarker Pros as the water color. To finish off the card I blended more Vintage Photo around the border and added a few gold baubles. For the complete process be sure to watch the video below.
