The Spellbinders Club Kits are now open for new subscriptions and are on the way to current subscribers which makes this my favorite day of the month! I love how much fun it is to open my mail and find new crafty goodness, but even more so I love the value that is jammed packed into each kit. Today I am going to share two projects using a few of the kits and in the upcoming days will share more. In an earlier post I mentioned that I am really trying to build up my stash of Birthday cards as I am running low, well Spellbinders has solved my problem!!! Lot’s to celebrate this month!!!
You know I am a fan of bold design so I just had to start with the Large Die Club which makes this fantastic banner. You can actually create as many layers as you want, but I stopped at three. This die also comes with a few flowers and balloons to make the perfect birthday card. I paired it with the 3D Embossing Folder Club and blended Distress Oxide Inks to create a rainbow… so cool right?
My second card was inspired my two friends favorite colors, and mine… teal, purple and lime green. I think it is the perfect celebratory combination. I used the fun Clear Stamp/Die Club to make this dimensional scene and paired it with the Embossing Folder Club as well. I love that this set not only cuts out the large rectangular areas, but will also cut out the individual pieces. I’ll show that in a card later this month. I’d love to know which card you like the most so far?
