How To Blend a Cotton Candy Inspired Background

Wouldn’t you have loved to lose your first tooth to cotton candy or something sweet? In my mind, that’s how I would want it to be. Maybe the Tooth Fairy came early because of my Sweet tooth. Idk, but I sure love this cute card! All of these cute products come from Whimsy Stamps, and I’m sure you’ll find even more that you can’t live without. lol!

Creating the cotton candy background was so easy, and so much fun using Saltwater Taffy and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxides. I love both of these colors individually, but I love the fun purples that result when blended together. I think this is the perfect combo for cotton candy and would totally munch on this at a state fair. I wanted to add a little more whimsy so I went with the Slimline Connected Bubbles in white on a diagonal You know I am such a fun of using my products in many ways and this totally fits the bill. I say this because I am using a die meant for a slimline on an A2 sized card.

Finally, in the video below I showed you how to color the Tooth Fairy stamp with Copics. I think the Sweet word and shadow die added just enough boldness to make the card pop. You’ll have to let me know what you think.
