How To Create a Valentine With A Combination of Patterned Paper and Ink Blending

Hello my friends! The season of love is upon us, so why not embrace it and make a Valentine with some fun Whimsy Stamps products? Candy Mouse wouldn’t make just for a cute Valentine, but a Galentine or Birthday card. What would you use it for?

As per my usual, I started out by stamping Candy Mouse onto smooth cardstock and colored him with Copics. Next I blended Distress Oxide Inks onto a card panel and adhered a sheet of the Starring Hearts paper pack to the bottom. Once the glue was dry, then I die cut it using the largest of the Fadoodles Frames Scalloped Rectangle dies. I then cut the largest two of the Shaker Maker Banners in white and black cardstock and layered them together. We’re almost to the finish line! Finally I die cut the Sweet Word & Shadow die out for the top of the card!!! And, you know I love shimmer and shine, so a few This Calls for Confetti Glazed Strawberry sequins were scattered about.
