Hello… Hola! How’s your Monday treating you? This weekend flew by. I got some much needed organization done, and of course fit a little bit of coloring in too. Today I am sharing a fun stamp set called, Hola from Sweet Sentiment Stamps which was first created for those attending the Fall 2022 Coloring Retreat. I love that Jammie and Sandy treat everyone so special and have exclusive stamp sets made for us and fun prizes. And let me tell you, if you didn’t arrive with a friend, you left having made a bunch of new ones. Sweet Sentiment is actually holding another coloring retreat in April 2023 and let me tell you they are making it special!
What I love about this set is it is like paper dolls for grown ups. It comes with several clothing options and you can make them however you want. I colored the girl with hoodie at the Fall retreat, and the one with the dress over the weekend. For the girl in the hoodie, I just cut off her bun and adhered the face inside the hoodie… pretty cool right? Click on the picture so it takes you straight to the stamp set so you can see what I am talking about! Since the two Hola girls together took most of the card front I went with a simple Mandala stencil background blended with three Distress Oxide inks. I thought a bold sentiment would look best on this background so I used one from the Bestie stamp set, but you couldn’t use one from the original set too. Super easy… but oh so cute!!!
