Sushi Time with One Stamp, Two Backgrounds

Can you believe it? You finally met someone who doesn’t eat sushi, but I sure do love the Sushi Time stamp set from Whimsy!!! In fact these sweet faces are what drew me to them. I am always interested in eating sushi, but then I get scared… Let’s stick with stamps for today.

I stamped all of the images from Sushi Time and colored them with Copics. I then broke out my Distress Oxides to create two very different backgrounds. For the first card I blended the inks and then splattered it with water before die cutting the Comic Speech Bubbles die to create the conversation piece. Next I arranged the little sushi images and added bling. Pretty cute huh?

For this background I stamped the Chippy Paint Background onto an orange ink blended panel, and again on a white panel. I die cut the orange panel with the Slimline Zig Zag Edger die and adhered it to the white panel leaving white stripes when adhering it to the white panel. After arranging the Sushi Time images I added the same bling as before.
