Hi my friends! As you know I have been a fan of all things Cardinals this holiday season, so I am squeezing one more before the big day arrives. Today’s card shows how to make a snow birch tree mini slimline card using the A7 Pop Up Birch Tree Panel die from Scrappy Tails Crafts.
I like stretching my supplies and before purchasing them like to think of multiple ways to use them. For instance this die is meant to be a panel for the the A7 Lantern Pop Up Card which is exquisite, but I wanted to show you that you can use these panel to create beautiful panels to create a scene on a mini slimline card. I fell in with Sabrina’s white/navy/and gray patterned papers she created for the last release, so I decided to stick with that theme. For this card, I die cut the three panels from the A7 Pop Up Birch Tree panel in heavy weight white cardstock and then the house and moose in a gray. I colored the cardinals with just one red marker so that there would be a pop of color. Since I am giving this card to my husband, I used the sentiment from the Russian Winter Village stamp set. I just love this card and know you will have fun recreating it! Have a Happy Holiday Season!
