I’m just checkin’ in to see what’s the scoop? I have been so busy this holiday season, that I have forgotten to check in on some of my friends, and I need to change that. I made this card for my best friend who really struggles through the holidays, and I want her to know I’m thinking of her.
I think Sweet Sentiment Stamps did a great job with these “construction” type cards that a lot of us would think of as masculine, but do you like how we have some sentiments that would lend themselves to any occasion. I decided to color the Smooth Operator pink because I wanted to show how easy it is to make these adorable stamps more feminine. I’m curious do you have a female friend that works in construction or something similar? This would be perfect for her!!!
I had so much fun coloring this Smooth Operator with red-violet Copics, and the metals were good practice too! When I was done coloring this I cut it with the coordinating Smooth Operator Sweet Slices. I am such a sucker for pink and black color schemes so it was only natural to pair this with a Black and White Stripes paper, but found it was a little to busy so I matted the focal image on a torn black cardstock. The fun sentiment was stamped onto a Comic Speech Bubble. So cute right?
